Domestic Violence Coordinating Council meeting

Earlier today, our office joined community partners at the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council meeting hosted by the Lexington Police Department. We are all working together for the prevention of Domestic Violence. A goal of the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council is to develop a community response, which serves victims and holds offenders accountable.

Domestic Violence Prosecutors and Victim Advocates from the Solicitor’s office, Sistercare, South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services, South Carolina Attorney General, Meg's House Shelter for Abused Women and Children, Lexington County Sheriff's Department, Magistrate Judges, Lexington County EMS, Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands, Insights, South Carolina Department of Social Services, Domestic Abuse Center, Dickerson Children's Advocacy Center, Cayce Department of Public Safety, LRADAC, Lexington County Coroner's Office, South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Columbia Police Department, SC, and the Lexington Police Department were all represented today at the Council meeting. #DVAM
