Lexington County Domestic Abuser sentenced to 10 Years in Prison

Torrance Carter has been sentenced in Lexington County General Sessions Court to 10 years in the S.C. Department of Corrections for domestic violence - 1st degree, making threats to law enforcement, possession of narcotics, and possession of contraband. After a standoff with law enforcement, Carter spit on arresting officers and made threats against the family and children of an officer.

Carter has a prior criminal record which includes convictions for drugs, unlawful weapons, and Assault & Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature.
