Nathaniel Andrew Washington was sentenced this week for the robbery of the First Community Bank on Meeting Street in West Columbia. He pled guilty and received a 9 year prison sentence from Judge Eugene C. Griffith, Jr. Washington entered the bank during business hours and gave the teller a note which indicated that he had a weapon. He fled the bank with approximately $4,600.
