Keith Robinson, 20, received 8 years in the South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDC) for his role in an Armed Robbery that took place on August 14, 2016, at the Carolina Lodge Motel located at 2204 Airport Boulevard in the Springdale area of Lexington County.

The incident occurred during daylight hours and was captured on the video surveillance system operated by the Carolina Lodge Motel. The victim was on foot near the parking area of the motel.

Captain Joshua Bice of the Springdale Police Department led the investigation of this case, which ultimately resulted in Robinson’s arrest. Circuit Court Judge Eugene Griffith, Jr., imposed the sentence. Assistant Solicitor Sutania Radlein handled the prosecution of this case for the Eleventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
