Shuantay Reddick pled guilty today in the County of Lexington for her role in the Armed Robbery that occurred at the Pink Store located in Gaston last spring. Circuit Court Judge Eugene C. Griffith, Jr., sentenced Reddick to twelve (12) years in the Department of Corrections. This conviction is classified as a serious, violent, no-parole offense. Senior Assistant Solicitor Rhonda Patterson handled the prosecution of this case for the office.
Reddick, who was armed with a handgun, entered the business along with another individual and stole money, lottery tickets, and cigarettes. Both parties fled the scene in a car that was later identified as belonging to someone associated with Reddick. Surveillance footage showed images of the suspects. Reddick was later identified through social media and a photo line-up.
