2019 Reflections: Justice for Lives Lost to Violence

Scales of Justice
Tue, 12/31/2019

As we close out 2019, we take the time to remember the 20 lives that were lost whose cases were brought to justice and whose families received closure this year throughout the 11th Circuit.

Some of these victims lost their lives as a result of gun fire, stab wounds, gang violence, a home invasion, acts of blatant disregard for human life, and drunk driving. One couple lost their lives violently in their home, while another victim lost her life in a brutal act of domestic violence. And five precious children lost their lives at the hands of their own father. These victims will never be forgotten.

The three murder trials discussed in this article were personally handled by Solicitor Rick Hubbard this year. Solicitor Hubbard and his team will continue seeking justice for victims like these in the new year.

We remember these lives lost to violence:
