Wed, 05/08/2019

This morning, Assistant Solicitor Doug Fender participated in a panel discussion moderated by Assistant Solicitor Sutania Fuller at McCormick High School as part of the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division’s #CommunityLawWeek programming coordinated by the Protecting Our Youth Committee.

Circuit Court Judge William P. Keesley, Defense Attorney Bennett Casto, and Major Brock with the McCormick County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit also participated in this panel discussion.

The purpose of this discussion was to educate these 9th and 10th graders at McCormick High School about the law, the consequences of their actions, and how a split second decision can impact their futures.
