Allen Ra’Shauan Langford, a 21 year old Aiken man, pled guilty today in Edgefield County to four counts of Burglary - Second Degree. Langford was sentenced to ten (10) years in the South Carolina Department of Corrections by Circuit Court Judge Lawton McIntosh. Langford will also serve a period of five (5) years of probation after he completes his prison sentence. Langford was ordered to pay $10,925.00 in restitution.
The investigation was conducted through the combined efforts of the Edgefield County Sherriff’s Department and the Johnston Police Department. This case was prosecuted by Eleventh Circuit Assistant Solicitor Doug Fender.
Langford burglarized a total of four homes in the Johnston and Trenton areas of Edgefield County in April and May of 2018. The investigation determined that Langford targeted victims with whom he was familiar, stealing valuable items from their residences at times he knew they would not be home.
