Thank you Rotary Club of Chapin Sunrise for the invitation this morning to discuss the Solicitor’s Office Drug Court Program. Solicitor Rick Hubbard presented information about the program along with Brooke Velazquez, our Director of Diversion Programs, and April Snipes, our Drug Court Director.

Our office offers several different diversion programs to offenders within the 11th Circuit. Specifically, our Drug Court Program offers treatment and rehabilitation to non-violent, repeat offenders seeking help with drug addictions. While participating in Drug Court, offenders cannot use drugs or alcohol nor commit a subsequent criminal offense. Upon successful completion of the program, offenders are eligible to have his or her charge expunged or probation reduced or ended. #11thCircuit #Recovery #OpioidCrisis
