Alphonso Guider was sentenced earlier today to 8 years incarceration for Assault & Battery - 1st degree committed against a female victim. Judge William Keesley delivered the sentence during Lexington County General Sessions Court.

Guider has prior convictions for aggravated assault from Tennessee and for criminal domestic violence.

This case was investigated by the West Columbia Police Department and prosecuted by Senior Assistant Solicitor Rhonda Patterson of the Eleventh Circuit Solicitor's Office.
